Craighead County Teen Accused of Stabbing Dog, Setting House on Fire

A 16-year-old boy accused of stabbing a dog and setting a relative's house on fire last week is being held by juvenile authorities in Jonesboro. The Craighead County Sheriff's Office says it happened outside Lake City. The boy faces charges of arson, falsifying a police report and felony aggravated cruelty to animals. The dog survived the attack. Craighead County officials say it's believed the teen tossed a piece of concrete through a bedroom window and then poured lighter fluid on an outside wall of the home and set it on fire. The fire went out by itself before doing any serious damage.
