- Residents in Poinsett County are fighting the flood waters to keep their neighbors dry and are asking for help. According to Neal Vickers of the Trumann Area Chamber of Commerce, the Trumann Fire Department and various other volunteers are working to fill and stack sandbags to save the Oak Donnick community. Vickers said that any volunteer who wants to help in the effort can call the chamber at 870- 483-5424 or show up at the Oak Donnick boat ramp at noon. Vickers said 5 families live in Oak Donnick and suffered damage from the flood in 2011.
